Compare Driving Schools

When comparing driving schools it is important to know what to look for.  Here is a good list to start with.

Make sure your lessons are a full hour and not 45 or 50 minutes long.  A lot of driving schools do this.

Piggy backing lessons: What are they?

Piggy backing lessons are when you drop the previous pupil off at their home and near the end of your lesson you go and pick up your driving instructor next pupil.  This limits where and what you can achieve on your lesson and also eats into your lesson time, the time you have paid for.

Trainee driving instructors:

Trainee driving instructors are allowed to teach but are not yet fully qualified and may never qualify, their pass rates are a lot lower than fully qualified instructors.

The largest driving school in the UK uses them and so do lots of smaller driving schools.

Evening/Weekend Charges:

Getting charged extra for evening and weekend lessons.  Again lots and lots of driving schools do this.

Automatic Lessons:

Getting charged for automatic driving lessons, most driving schools charge at least an extra 2 pound an hour for this.

AT INTENSIVECOURSES.CO.UK WE DO NOT DO ANY OF THE ABOVE.

All of our driving  instructors are fully qualified ADI's.  We dont use trainies.

All our lessons are full hour lessons, so you get the time you have paid for.

All lessons are on a one to one basis with no other pupils in the car.  No piggy backing.

We do not charge extra for evening or weekend lessons.

We do not charge extra for automatic driving lessons.

Our promise to you is simple: Great Instructors at great prices.
