There are so many great reasons for doing your advanced driving course, everything from making you a safer driver to lowering you car insurance fees and not forgetting lower fuel bills for your car especially in these times when petrol is so expensive.

The advanced driving test normally last anywhere from one hour to one and a half hours, taken in all road conditions.

IAM and RoSPA are the main organisations who conduct the advanced driving test. The IAM and RoSPA have slightly different format for the driving test.

The IAM advanced driving test is a straight fail or pass.  This does not impact on your full driving licence either way.

The RoSPA driving test is in 3 grades, Bronze, Silver and Gold, again this has no impact on your full driving licence.

It is advisable to have had your full driving licence for at least a year before you apply to do the Advanced driving test.

Your advanced driving instructor at intensivecourses.co.uk will guide you through what is to be expected.  We normally do a 3 hour assessment lesson to guide you through some of the types of roads you will be expected to do on the day. Depending on your ability you may need extra lessons to get up to advanced test standard, your instructor will know exactly how many after your assessment lesson.  The average lessons is 6 to 8 hours.

Give us a call at www. intensivecourses.co.uk to book your advanced driving lessons and test.
