There is a DVSA strike on Friday the 31st of May, but not all examiners are on strike so it’s always best to turn up to see if your test is going ahead, if you don’t turn up and your DVSA driving examiner is not on strike you will lose you driving test fee.

If your practical driving test has been cancelled by the DVSA due to the examiners strike, do not panic as the DVSA will re-book you another practical test within 5-10 days, in most cases you will have incurred expenses i.e. lose of earnings to take time off work to attend the driving test, driving lessons on the day of your test and driving instructor car hire for the driving test. Some of this you might be able to claim back from the DVSA, please see the DVSA link below to do so.

The DVSA will reschedule your driving test but the new date may not be suitable for you, you can always contact the DVSA on 0300 200 1122 to ask for a new date. Sometimes you may have to wait for a couple of weeks or in more extreme cases a couple of months, but if you would like an earlier test date then the DVSA can offer then why not contact us on 0333 366 1251 and we will look for an earlier date for you www.intensivecourses.co.uk. We go that extra mile.
