I passed my test after 22 hours of instruction from Paresh. He was an excellent instructor who knew how to use the right combination of challenges and encouragement to prepare me for the test. Paresh was very flexible and was willing to meet me in Sidcup for my lessons to ensure I had the maximum amount of time possible to practice test routes
Intensive Courses were also very helpful throughout the process. They managed to find and book me a practical test within a month of my getting in touch. Steve

Why choose an Intensive Course?
Successful Pupils who passed the Driving Test in East London – E14 Area
Dear Intensive Courses,
Today I passed my practical driving assessment at the first attempt, having completed 18 hours of lessons with Paresh. His incredible knowledge and experience made learning easy, he always encouraged me whenever I made a mistake, and he generally made learning to drive a very enjoyable experience. He identified my weaknesses and made sure I worked on them to assure I was as prepared as possible for the test. I couldn’t recommend Paresh any more highly to anyone who wants to learn, regardless of their skill level, and I’d like to thank him greatly for all the help he’s given me.

Top 10 Tip for Learning in E14 – Isle of Dogs
Where is the best quietest place to start your lessons from?
From the E14 Isle Of Dogs and Limehouse London postcode the best place to start your lessons would be the streets of Manchester Road and Westferry Road. It’s not too busy around there and you can do the loop around the area. There are a couple of small roundabouts there also so that should help with the roundabouts practice.
What are the speed limits on the roads?
Most of the roads are limited to 20 mph but there are some but not many 30 mph. There are speed cameras in the area also to enforce the speed limit.
Are there many big or small roundabouts in my area?
There are a few small roundabouts and the closest larger roundabout is the one of Aspen Way, close to Blackwall Station. At peak time traffic the roundabout is traffic light controlled. It’s a very good roundabout to get lots of practice on.
Are there any dual carriageways?
Yes, the main dual carriageway is the A1261 Aspen Way. It leads you to Central London heading west and towards Barking heading East.
What are the best times during the day to do your driving lessons?
The roads can get quite busy during rush hours with people heading into central London so it’s best to avoid lessons at those times unless you are going in the opposite direction to the traffic. Traffic easies up usually around 10am onward
Are there any busy/difficult/unusual junctions?
There are no unusual or difficult routes but the area can get extremely busy, if there is an accident, breakdown in and around Rotherhithe or Blackwall Tunnels. The same goes for the Limehouse tunnel.
Are there any places to practice bay parking?
Council housing estates are very good places to practice. Salter Street beside Westferry DLR is also a good place when the car parking spaces are not full.
Which are my nearest theory test centres?
Your nearest theory test centres are Mile End on the DVSA website but they are actually in Westferry (Limehouse). There are 2 theory test centres there A and C. The next closest is London Bridge (Southwark).
Where are my local practical test centres?
The 2 nearest practical test centres are Wanstead off the A12 and Barking of the A13, A406 North Circular Road. The the next nearest after the is Goodmayes in Ilford and Chingford off the North Circular a few miles from Ikea in Tottenham
Which is the easiest test centre to do your practical driving test in my area?
Each test centre is different, Wanstead has the most big roundabouts followed by Chingford. They tend to do the test on the same type of roads, Goodmays has lots of narrow roads filled with learner drivers practice. Barking test centre can be busy with shoppers and has a good mix of road types for the test.
