Where is the best quietest place to start your lessons from?
In and around the Royal Docks there are some good quite roads and as you advance then heading on the Victoria Dock Road A112 will be good practice.
What are the speed limits on the roads?
There are some 20 mph but most roads are 30 mph generally. Newham Way on the A13 has varied speed limits.
Are there many big or small roundabouts in my area?
E16 postcode has quite a few roundabouts, Where the A112 meets the A13 can be a challenge.
Are there any dual carriageways?
The A13 is the main dual carriageway in the area.
What are the best times during the day to do your driving lessons?
It gets very busy in the rush hours so best do your driving lessons between the rush hours, if you are going to do lessons in the rush hours then head in the opposite direction of the traffic.
Are there any busy/difficult/unusual junctions?
Most of the main roads get busy but none to difficult, as always keep a look out for no entry signs.
Are there any places to practice bay parking?
There are not many places to practice except in housing estates. Asda on the Isle Of Dogs down the road in E14 is a good place.
