Semi-Intensive Driving Course
Our semi-intensive courses can be spread over a period of no more than 6 weeks. Your driving lessons are booked in around your diary. We do a minimum of 2 hours a day and a maximum of 5 hours a day. Your practical driving test is booked in for the last day of your course.

Where is the best quietest place to start your lessons from?
Millennium Way and John Harrison Way are usually a good place to get started on your lessons. Nice mix of roads without being too busy.
What are the speed limits on the roads?
Most of the roads are 30mph but on the the A102 and A2 the speed limit increases to 50mph and then 70mph
Are there many big or small roundabouts in my area?
There are quite a few roundabouts especially around the 02 arena, further away you then have the larger roundabouts around Bugsby’s Way and around where the Peartree Way A1020 and Woolwich Road A206 meet.
Are there any dual carriageways?
The main dual carriageway is A102 Blackwell Way Southern Approach.
What are the best times during the day to do your driving lessons?
It is very busy before 10am but after that there is a steady stream of traffic, fantastic mix of roads to learn on.
Are there any busy/difficult/unusual junctions?
Busy on the main roads but over all not a bad place to learn, nothing difficult.
Are there any places to practise bay parking?
In and around the 02 there are some and a few places where there are big blocks of flats.
Which are my nearest theory test centres?
Your nearest theory test centres are London Bridge followed by the Sidcup theory test centre.

Which is the easiest test centre to do your practical driving test in my area?
There is not a big difference between them but as Hither Green is your closest then maybe that’s the best one for you.
