Congratulations to Christian on passing your practical test with the help of Musaffar from Intensive Courses
Today I passed my driving test at the first attempt, I would like to place on record my thanks and appreciation towards your services. Musaffer is an amazing instructor, he is both knowledgeable and diligent and without him as my instructor, I feel I wouldn’t have had a chance at passing. My son is approaching his 17th birthday and I can give no better recommendation than the fact I will make sure it is him that teaches my son to drive. Please feel free to use me as a statement on your website etc as I will be happy to confirm all of the above again. Thank you once again.

Top 10 Tips for learning in N3 West Finchley
Where is the best quietest place to start your lessons from?
Moss Hall Grove going onto Nether Street then heading left towards Birkbeck Road and then onto Hutton Grove. This can then take you towards Ballards Lane which can be quite a busy road so make sure you feel ready for it, If not then head back onto the side road to build up confidence. Practicing around the area will help with changing gears and turning lefts and rights.
What are the speed limits on the roads?
There are mostly 30 mph and a few 20 mph roads.
Are there many big or small roundabouts in my area?
Very few roundabouts in the area but if you’re looking to practice roundabouts I would suggest heading up towards the Great Cambridge roundabout where the A10 road meets the A406 North Circular, also there is a big roundabout at Brent Cross shopping centre.
Are there any dual carriageways?
The A1 Watford Way and the A406 North Circular Road are the closest dual carriageways.
What are the best times during the day to do your driving lessons?
It gets busy around rush hour times but if you go in the opposite direction to the traffic you should still be able to get a lot of driving done. In the mornings it is busy heading into Central London and in the evening it is busy heading out from London.
Are there any busy/difficult/unusual junctions?
Most of the main roads get busy, Brent Cross roundabout is very busy. The North Circular from the side roads can be a bit hectic so you may have to be patient when waiting for a break in the traffic.
Are there any places to practice bay parking?
There are not many places to practice except in housing estates or the Brent Cross shopping centre has a lot of places to practice. Hendon test centre car park is also a good place to practice when tests are not taking place as well as Ikea off the North Circular is a great place to practice. There is also the big Tesco store beside it has a big car park to practice in.
Which are my nearest theory test centres?
The nearest theory test centres are Southgate, Watford, Mile End which has 3 centres A , B and C, then there is London Bridge (Southwark) theory test centre.
Where is my local practical test centre?
Which is the easiest test centre to do your practical driving test in my area?
All test centres are roughly the same. There are more country roads on the Barnet routes, Borehamwood has lots of mini roundabouts. Hendon and Mill Hill cover mostly the same routes and you are likely to go on the A41 dual carriageway. If you’re not a fan of roundabouts then Wood Green and Tottenham have fewer roundabouts on the test routes but if you are going to do your test in either Wood Green or Tottenham make sure you practice the Great Cambridge Roundabout from all directions. So don’t worry which test centre you get.
